What Other's Are Saying After Getting The Guide...

"I loved Every Photo Has a Story! Sasha nailed it when she said we’re only one or two generations from losing the stories that define who we are. Her prompts make it so easy to sit down with a loved one, dig through those old photo boxes, and turn those pictures into rich memories and family history for future generations. Do yourself a favor: download this right away and grab someone you love to do it with!”

Every Photo Has a Story is such a thoughtful resource. The prompts make it easy to remember the little moments behind your photos, even if writing isn't something you normally enjoy. I found myself recalling memories and details I hadn't thought about in years. It's a wonderful tool for anyone who wants to preserve their family's stories in a simple, meaningful way. I highly recommend it!

A PERSONAL NOTE

Hey! I'm Sasha

I help women who don't think they're writers share their life stories without getting stuck and overwhelmed with the blank page. I'm a certified photo manager, have built and taught a life-story writing curriculum at a local arts center, published essays and short stories, and spent years helping people discover they have more to say than they realized.

But this work got personal when I sat down with my 92-year-old Grandma and a couple of shoeboxes of old family photos. We had a blast; until I pointed to a face from my Grandpa's side and she couldn't remember who it was. That's when it hit me: we're only one or two generations away from losing the stories that make us who we are.

So I started writing her stories down while I still could. And when she said, "I'm not a writer," I knew I had to help her—and others—find a way in. These prompts come straight from that work at her kitchen table. They're designed to hand you the thread and let you pull, even if you've never written a thing.

I can't wait for you to have that moment when you read back a story in your own words and realize you had something to say all along.

See you inside!
